Complete and test-fit each tier fully before locking it onto the tier below — follow the instructions’ tier sequence, since skipping ahead risks alignment problems that are very difficult to correct once upper tiers are in place.

The curved eaves: Each tier’s eave panels have the same upward-curving profile characteristic of the real castle’s rooflines. Pre-shape each panel individually before installation; forcing a flat panel into the curved slot produces a visibly incorrect roofline that stands out immediately given how central the roof silhouette is to this subject.

Final details: Window screens, minor wall trim, and the small finial details on the topmost tier are added last.
