Metal Earth Millennium Falcon (Color) Review
Our verdict
On paper, the best all-round Star Wars metal kit we track: a color Premium Series Falcon rated moderate, for builders ready to move past their first kit.
What we like
- +Instantly recognizable Star Wars subject
- +Listing photos show grey hull panels with printed red weathering detail
- +Rated moderate — more approachable than several smaller Star Wars kits
- +Shown on a display stand in the product photos
Watch out for
- −137 pieces is a real step up from a two-sheet starter kit
- −Printed surfaces show pliers marks more than bare steel does
- −Build time is not published
The Metal Earth Premium Series Millennium Falcon (Color) is Metal Earth’s color edition of the Falcon. This review is based on the published Amazon listing and product photos. We have not assembled this kit, so difficulty and planning notes are estimates drawn from those specifications.

Finish and detail
This is the color edition. The product photos show grey hull plating with printed panel lines and red weathering marks, the round top turret, the offset cockpit and the forward mandibles, with the model mounted on a small angled stand. Metal Earth also sells a silver Millennium Falcon; the printed color is the main visible difference.
What the build involves
Metal Earth rates the Falcon moderate, which we map to Intermediate on our scale. The part count (137) and the round, layered hull suggest it rewards some prior experience, even if it is not rated as hard as the Razor Crest or N-1 Starfighter.
- Protect the printed faces. Smooth-jaw pliers or taped jaws help avoid scuffs.
- Sort by step. Many hull panels look alike; group them before you start.
- Build the hull evenly. A flat, level saucer makes every later step easier.
The listing does not publish a build time. Expect it to take longer than a two-sheet kit.
How it compares with other Star Wars kits

Who it may suit
- Star Wars fans who have finished at least one metal kit
- Collectors who want a color display piece
- Gift buyers shopping for a teen or adult builder (listed for ages 14+)
For a first build, start with something simpler such as the Eiffel Tower, then come back to the Falcon.
What we could not verify
The listing does not state a build time. We have not confirmed how durable the printed finish is, how well the stand holds the model, or how closely the parts match the photos. Check recent buyer reports before purchasing.
The verdict
The color Millennium Falcon looks like the best all-round Star Wars kit we track: printed, and rated moderate rather than challenging. It is a good second or third kit for a fan. Browse more in the sci-fi & fantasy category.
